Women Artists of the West Stronger Than Ever

In November the 38th annual exhibition of Women Artists of the West (WAOW) ran at Chicago�s Hilligoss Galleries. This organization started in California but now includes members from 30 states. Juried by artist Nancy Guzik (b. 1955), this year�s show featured more than 200 works by members and 10 invited artists. The Fine Art Connoisseur Award of Excellence went to Denver-based member Leslie Allen (b. 1942), who paints both impressionistic and abstracted landscapes.
