The City of Brea Art Gallery in Brea, California, will host the 21st Annual Colored Pencil Society of America International Juried Exhibition from July 31 to September 13. An opening reception will be held the evening of August 3, from 7-9 p.m.

The annual international juried exhibition displays artworks done entirely in colored pencil. Exhibited works include skillfully rendered still life and figurative drawings. Each year the location of the exhibition changes, so as to introduce a new segment of the population to the impressive artists who constitute the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA). In conjunction with the exhibition, $15,000 in awards are given to select participating artists. The 21st annual juried exhibition was juried by Danielle Susalla Deery, director of exhibits and communications at the Oceanside Museum of Art.
